Célia – Introduction to Contemporary and (Neo) Classical
Contemporary Pre-Teen Course
From 9/10 years old, the contemporary course introduces to inking on the ground and especially the awareness of changes in body weight and taking up space. The approach to the ground is done gently and students begin to set their imagination in motion through the curiosity of improvisation. They are also invited to speak out to express their feelings and emotions in a caring way and listening to themselves and others.
Contemporary Course for Teens-Adults
From 14/15 years old and depending on the level, the class seeks fluidity of movement by playing with body weight and juggling from the ground to jumps. Improvisation becomes more familiar and students gain confidence in their proposals, gradually developing their own choreographic vocabulary. The work of expression is also fully tuned.
Course (Neo) – Classic Teens-Adults
From 14/15 years old and depending on the level of competence, neo-classical classes are organized in a standard way, including a warm-up session at the barre or center, technical exercises and the creation of choreographies for the annual shows. At this level, the emphasis is on in-depth work on technique and detail, with special attention paid to each student. The “Neo” dimension is manifested above all through Célia’s choreographic and musical style.
